If you are not up-to-date with the news, two days ago, we were told that Microsoft co-founder, Bill Gates, has moved to using an Android smartphone, presumably from a Windows smartphone. When the co-founder of a company moves to using a competitor’s product, it is news. But really? Why should Gates use a Windows phone? All the latest and coolest apps are not available for Windows Mobile. Instead, they are available on Android OS and iOS....

News flash. There are still multitudes of us out there. Yes; Android has almost 90% of the global smartphone market in terms of sales numbers. The iPhone has about 90% of the profit. It is no news because Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile support has been ended a long time ago. No new features have been added to Windows 10 Mobile in two years. All that existing Lumia phones and other Windows 10 Mobile phones get are monthly security updates. Let’s call that mandatory house cleaning. But the house has been abandoned. There have been no new apps. Many big developers stopped work on their existing Windows 10 Mobile apps in the last two years....
